I need at least R80M, or around $5,8 M at R14 to the Dollar, to buy the right property of at least 10,000 Ha, including putting a lot of game on the farm, with hunter’s houses, an abattoir, airfield, building for a workshop, etc.

 

For the Apple Project, I need at least R120 M, or around $8,5M. This will include the trees, hail netting, tractors & equipment, plus salaries for the first 3 years, before production starts.

 

For the Sheep & Cattle part, I would need $200,000, or around R2,8M

 

Including all the extra commissions, perks, & other start-up expenses we can round it off at a total of R280 M,  or $20 M with a first target of $180,000 to cover initial deposits & other expenses so far.

 

From the Game, Sheep & Cattle we could have a small income after the first year, but the Apple Division will take at least 4 years, from soil preparation, ordering the trees, planting & covering with hail netting.
